On August 21st, 1981, Jack Howard made his rock’n’roll debut with Hunters and Collectors supporting The Cure to 1,300 punters at the legendary Seaview Ballroom in St.Kilda. In 2001, Jack released his first solo album, Secrets And White Lies, a record that gave the first inkling of the richness of Jack’s own songwriting and arranging skills.
Jack is now up to his tenth album and along the way has played with everyone from Midnight Oil to Rodriguez to You Am I and The Living End.
At George Lane on December 3rd, 4th and 5th, Jack will be celebrating this double milestone with 3 shows.
On the Saturday night, Jack and his mighty band of Long Lost Brothers and Sisters will be performing Secrets And White Lies from start to finish and then doing a second set of Jack’s current great tunes.
There’ll be special guests for this powerful, soulful horn-driven day of music.
