On August 21st, 1981, Jack Howard made his rock’n’roll debut with Hunters and Collectors supporting The Cure to 1,300 punters at the legendary Seaview Ballroom in St.Kilda. In 2001, Jack released his first solo album, Secrets And White Lies, a record that gave the first inkling of the richness of Jack’s own songwriting and arranging skills.
Jack is now up to his tenth album and along the way has played with everyone from Midnight Oil to Rodriguez to You Am I and The Living End.
At George Lane on December 3rd, 4th and 5th, Jack will be celebrating this double milestone with 3 shows.
On the Friday night, Jack will be joined by the Epic Brass team to delve into some early H & C classics plus more great Aussie brass songs. This will be followed by another Long Lost Brothers’ set.
There’ll be special guests across three nights of powerful, soulful horn-driven music.
