NYE. George Lane. The Peptides. Oh, and Kim Volkman. Yep. Let that sink in…..It’s a little bit massive. Massive in the 8 piece band sense but also massive in the whole ‘reputation precedes’ sense. To watch Fred Negro is like being beamed to a completely different planet. Fred leads the band and is more than ably supported by the rest of the group. No band does Lou Reed covers nearly as well as the Peptides and we’re pretty sure Dan Auerbach would be happy to share royalties for The Peptides take on The Black Keys ‘Gold On The Ceiling’. But hey, we’re just scratching the surface. If you haven’t yet witnessed a Peptides show, just do it. Trust us. For those that have, welcome back!
Kim Volkman will play mid Peptides show and the Peptides will round off the night as the clock strikes midnight at which point we exclaim SAYONARA 2020!
