The Road To Tibooburra sees The Church's legendary frontman Steve Kilbey team up with Julien Poulson (The Cambodian Space Project) and a team of painters, music and filmmakers to 'screen test' Steve for the role of another wonderfully maverick Australian Painter - Ian Fairweather - who, at the peak of high own career, suffering from depression, built a raft and embarked on a mind-blowingly foolhardy solo voyage into the open sea in an attempt to visit a friend in East Timor.
