Rated as one of Australia's greatest guitarists and all round performer, Geoff Achison will be playing a rare solo show at George Lane. Geoff is well known for his work with his band ‘The Souldiggers’ and has countless industry awards for his musicianship over the years. Geoff was inducted into the Blues Music Victoria Hall Of Fame last year and he represented Melbourne at the 'International Blues Challenge' in Memphis TN winning the coveted 'Albert King Award' in 1995.
Playing alongside none other than the great Dutch Tilders himself, Geoff has cemented a unique playing style and sound that is sometimes likened to the brilliant ‘Allman Brothers’ (check out Geoff playing with ‘The Allman Brothers’ on the song ‘Whipping Post’) and artists such as Eric Clapton and JJ Cale.
