Prolific Tasmania-via-Melbourne songwriter Van Walker is now based in Geelong, and when he's not rocking with The Swedish Magazines or Ghosting on his lonesome, he's foraging with his Celtic flavoured Ferriters, who have "risen rapidly to be one of the best acts on the Irish-Australian scene." (Koroit Irish Festival).
Always busy gigging all over Australia, including festivals from Nannup in WA to Dashville Skyline in Northern NSW, the band are back from another tour of Ireland and the homecoming show will be at George Lane, Sat 16 Sept. Two huge sets of songs and stories from the "The Bard from Burnie... in my opinion one of the best songwriters in the country." (Jeff Lang)
