Join award-winning singer-songwriter Marcia Howard at George Lane on Sunday, May 25th, for an afternoon of unforgettable music!
Marcia’s ties to St Kilda run deep—she lived at Goanna Manor in the ‘80s, a time when St Kilda was a vibrant centre for creativity. Although based in Geelong, Marcia’s roots in the area remain strong, and she’s excited to bring her music back home. As a member of the iconic Goanna Band, Marcia has supported land rights and environmental movements through her music and activism, performing alongside international artists and using her platform for important causes. Throughout her global career, Marcia has worked with legends and her song ‘Poison Tree’ performed with Irish legend Mary Black features on albums alongside Joan Baez, and Emmy Lou Harris. She’s also released multiple solo albums and created the show House of Song, celebrating her 40 years in music.
