Born and raised in Daylesford, Daisy Kilbourne is a wannabe ‘70’s child that comes from a small town with a big spirit.
With a love for music that runs in her DNA, Daisy draws inspiration from the musical legacy of her late father, Wayne Kilbourne, a fellow songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Amidst her grief, Daisy found refuge in music, channelling her experiences of love and loss into introspective lyrics that not only honours her father’s memory, but forges a path of her own. Using her artistry as a passage for connection and catharsis, she combines elements of folk, rock, and soul to create a sound that pays homage to her musical heroes (anyone you’d find at Woodstock) while remaining distinctly her own.

With an emphasis on raw, unfiltered expression, Daisy creates a space where listeners can find solace, forging a timeless quality that transcends genre and era. Excited to connect with listeners through authentic storytelling and soul-stirring compositions, Daisy Kilbourne promises more introspective tunes with a forthcoming debut EP on the cards.
Support for the night is Benjamin Trillado. Benjamin Trillado has always been one to defy rules. When many shy away from their insecurities, their mistakes, and sometimes the ugliness of life, Trillado isn’t afraid to kiss and tell. Growing up in a Filipino household where karaoke was a way for family to connect, music has always been a core part of Benjamin’s identity. Though it's clear that Benjamin writes with indie folk and pop sensibilities, he often says he owes his vocal ability and tone to growing up learning from r&b singers.
