Ashley Naylor, who has been lovingly referred to by some local music experts as a ‘Human Jukebox’, is the first artist to be featured in a new series called ‘Just A Short Note’. 

Having just returned from The Church’s 17-show North American co-headline tour with The Afghan Whigs, Ashley will soon be touring Australia, Italy and Spain with melodic power pop favourites The Stems, before returning to Australia with The Church for ‘The Already Yesterday Tour’ in November. 

The ‘Just A Short Note’ format will include an in-depth conversation with Ashley, exploring the origins of his songwriting and guitar playing, along with anecdotes of artists and songs that have inspired him throughout his three-plus decades in the music industry.

The evening will culminate in Ashley playing a handpicked selection of his own and others’ songs. 

This is sure to be an entertaining and insightful evening of story and song. 

This event will be filmed and recorded, to share the stories and songs with those who are unable to attend this intimate show at George Lane.
